How To Make Whipped Body Butter
Ingredients:
50g cup raw organic Shea butter, 10g cup Cocoa butter, 20g Coconut oil, 10g cup Jojoba oil, 10g Sweet almond oil, and a few drops of essential oils. Learn more about Shea butter in my blog
Method:
Melt all the oils and butters together in a double boiler, or a saucepan under low heat. You can use a Pyrex measuring cup if you a double boiler is not available.
Next, remove the melted butters and oils from the heat and mix in essential oils. Mix well to incorporate the essential oils. Then, transfer the mixed butters and oils into a kitchen bowl and place in the refrigerator, until it becomes solid, about one or two hours. Alternatively, you can use the freezer to cool it.
Once the mixture is hardened, (you can touch with your index finger), remove the bowl from the fridge, and whip it using a hand mixer, or you can place the bowl into the kitchen aid to whip the body butter, continue to whip until the body butter it’s light and soft.
Finally, you can store the whipped body butter in a glass jar and store in a cool dry place.
